What are the scholarship eligibility requirements?

Scholarship applicants must:

Have a high school diploma or GED with a minimum graduating 2.0 GPA.

Upload a typed, personal essay. In your essay explain:

  • Why you’d like to work in healthcare;

  • What a scholarship would mean to you;

  • Any significant circumstances (financial, familial, cultural barriers, etc.) or hardships you’ve endured/overcome that you would like the review committee to consider.

Four Medical Assisting with Phlebotomy scholarships are available: Two at the Bay Area Medical Academy
San Francisco campus and two at the San Jose campus. 

Being back in school is a tremendous opportunity for me to learn and grow as an individual and pursue a career that is in line with my goals and aspirations as a person.
