Employers That Hire Our Grads

We Are a Social Enterprise

We rank in the top 10% of B-Corps (benefits corporations) based on our rigorous standards of social performance, accountability, and transparency. We partner with social agencies to help people who face social barriers attend school. We also collaborate with STEP into a Job!™ to provide scholarships to high school seniors. Beyond that, our campus is community oriented. As our founder says, "Although it’s a clinical setting it’s not a clinical atmosphere." We have an open door policy where students are encouraged to come to staff for support. We also hold events, such as graduation celebrations, alumni lectures, and student appreciation days. At BAMA, we care about our students and it shows. That's why many of our students come to us as referrals from their friends and family (who are alumni) - something we take great pride in.

BAMA's a great choice. You graduate a Nationally-Certified Medical Assistant. You are a Nationally-Certified Phlebotomist. You're a Certified EKG Technician, and they will connect you to take the State board exam. Go to BAMA. You have the opportunity to just grow and move up and just keep going.

Davina C. , Medical Assistant Program Graduate

I liked the hands-on training best. The training in class was set up to give you the experience of working in a doctor's office. You're trained to take vitals and give injections, among other things.

Joan Garchitorena , Medical Assistant Program Graduate

What I liked most about the medical assisting program is the hands-on learning. Mrs. Earby made it fun, and she told us about her real-life experience working as a medical assistant. I always looked forward to going to class. BAMA helped me reach my goal, and shaped me to be the best medical assistant I could be. I’m now an medical assistant at San Francisco Critical Care Medical Group.

Suliana A. Feiloakitau , Medical Assistant Program Graduate

Student Job Success

Top medical centers repeatedly hire BAMA graduates, and the school maintains a stellar reputation for great training from experienced educators. A large number of students get hired at leading San Francisco Bay Area medical facilities, such as: Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center, San Francisco Department of Public Health Clinics, Kaiser Permanente, One Medical Group, Quest Diagnostics, California Pacific Medical Center, UCSF Medical Center, San Mateo County General Hospital and Palo Alto Medical Foundation.

An Accredited Institution

Accreditation is important! It means we have met certain high standards of educational and administrative quality. Also, since we are an accredited institute we can offer Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA) to those who qualify. We are nationally accredited through the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). We are approved by the California Bureau for Private Post-Secondary Education (B.P.P.E.).
