Bay Area Medical Academy is a private institution approved to operate by the Bureau for Private Post-secondary Education (BPPE) due to meeting the minimum operating standards. ‘Approved to operate’ means compliance with state standards as set forth in the California Private Postsecondary Act of 2009 and Division 7.5 of Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations.
The Phlebotomy Technician program and the phlebotomy portion of our Medical Assisting with Phlebotomy Program are approved by the State of California Department of Health Services – Laboratory Field Services Division (LFS).
