Bay Area Medical Academy was founded as a grassroots initiative. In 2004, Simonida Cvejic established the first location in response to the local demand for healthcare professionals. The school’s core philosophy, which has become synonymous with our institution, revolves around community. Our staff, students, and administration work together to fulfill critical healthcare needs.
Our medical assistant school in San Jose prepares students from all walks of life with a 9-month, 900-hour program where they learn essential medical assistant skills and prepare for three highly respected certifications;
- National Certified Medical Assistant
- Certified EKG Technician, CET
- California Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT-1) / National Certified Phlebotomy Technician
