BAMA Video: Medical Assistant Grad Finds His Passion in Healthcare

bama_800px_sq_logo.jpgSoon after medical assistant grad Steve Barbosa walked into Bay Area Medical Academy, he discovered a passion for the new direction he was taking in his life.

It’s a passion that helped Steve graduate BAMA’s medical assisting program with the knowledge and skills needed to start a career working in healthcare.

Steve, like many other BAMA graduates, including his wife, Athena, is a great example of someone who decided that going back to school was the key to unlocking a brighter future.

“BAMA definitely did give me a second chance,” says Steve. “Actually, I would refer to it more as a third chance. Something most people wouldn’t get in life.”
