*Although the medical assisting class is free, applicants are required to complete FAFSA.

Qualifying Criteria for Both Classes

Applicants for the class must:

  • Be an incorporated Redwood City resident.
  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Be low to moderate income.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED (NB: those people with a completed bachelor’s degree or higher education do not qualify).
  • Have at least one full course vaccination for COVID-19.

Class starts April, 2025. Incorporated Redwood City residents interested in applying for the class are advised to book an online appointment with our admissions team for more details on eligibility and enrollment.
