BAMA’s Open Enrollment, Fast-Track Pharmacy Tech Program Training

Student in the pharmacy tech programHave you just found out you can’t enroll in a school’s pharmacy tech program training until the start of their spring, summer, or fall semester?

Are you worried you may be turned away for your training because a school has implemented a lucky-for-some-unlucky-for-others lottery system that dictates their pharmacy technician student intake?

Do you have to live with a school controlling your learning in a way that’s more on their terms than yours?

Absolutely not.

For other schooling options, all that’s needed is a little more research.

Pharmacy Tech Program Training You Don’t Have to Wait For

If you want to go back to school to train to become a pharmacy technician, you know time plays a big part in that training.

The quicker you start your school training, the quicker you’ll graduate, the quicker you’ll be able to start working.

Nobody likes waiting, especially when they’re being held up for no good reason.

BAMA’s pharmacy technician program has open enrollment every month, and is a fast-track way to train to become a pharmacy technician.

There’s no need for a student to wait for a spring, summer, or fall semester to begin.

There’s no lottery system possibly preventing a student from starting their training on a timeline that’s convenient for them.

The program is 7.5 months long, featuring 6 monthly learning modules, followed by a 240 hour clinical externship.

Each of the 6 learning modules comprises a mixture of hands-on and lecture instruction, and stands alone as a unit of study not dependent upon the completion of previous or subsequent modules. Students may enter the program in any of the monthly modules, then progress through the program until all the modules have been completed.

Quickly, the student is trained for the career they want, when they want to start that training.

Keep Researching Until You Find a School That Offers Pharmacy Tech Program Training You Want

Research is important when choosing a healthcare training school that will prepare you for a successful career.

Does the school provide you with sufficient hands-on training?

Is a clinical externship provided?

Can the school get you in and out of the door as quickly possible, without you feeling rushed or feeling like you can’t keep up with the training, while also ensuring you’re a skilled and ready-to-work pharmacy technician?

If a school can offer these things, and more, it may be well the right school for you.

Remember, you don’t need to hang around to start your pharmacy tech program training. Good research will soon find you a school that ticks all your must-have boxes.

Right now, there’s an increased demand for pharmacy technicians in the state of California.

Plug pharmacy technician (or pharmacy tech) into a job site search engine, and you’ll quickly see there are retail pharmacies, such as Walgreens and CVS, eager to hire pharmacy technicians in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Additionally, the Senate California Legislature has reported a projected pharmacy technician employment growth rate of 28.4% between 2008 and 2018.

Do you want to wait to take advantage of these job opportunities sooner, rather than later?

If that’s your situation, continue researching until you find a school you can confidently partner with to give you pharmacy tech program training on a schedule that suits you.
